Well I am lost for words looking at this. It is AMAZING with a CAPITL A ! You should be very proud of it, there is such a degree of sensitivity in this face...eyes. A gem of an artwork. ~ Anni Morris

fantastic ,

Mmmm - as a child, I spent some time in Bristol Zoo - not as an exhibit, my uncle Vic was a senior keeper, and I spent holidays in his house. He and my aunt brought up an abandoned ape - I will always remember that look in his eyes, which I recognize in this drawing. This is a gorilla, I think; my Aunt Amy nursed one Timothy the Chimp, decades before it was thought possible to do this, ie around 50 years ago. Probably lost in the mists of time now, but I thought then, as now, that there is so little difference between us and the great apes that what we do to them and their environment is beyond inexcusable. We're an inferior species that thinks itself superior - look on and be ashamed.

thanks for your kind comments....Robert I agree with all that you said...
