Such a beautiful sky you have created in this marvelous oldie David.

Love that glow on the horizon David. I know the feeling it happens to us all. Sometimes I find a change of medium helps.

Thank you for your kind words, Cheryl!

Nice work David, love the warm glow in the sky.

Something about the Karoo that is so wonderful! The wide open spacious sky and these settlers cottages seem to strike wonder and it always remains the same as it's one of those regions that has kept its expansive space. When one paints in a particular medium for these scenes maybe it's best to let them dictate again and start afresh! I know how important it is to paint with a medium one feels comfortable with but there again pencil drawing can lead us into new vistas and then it can be transformative to dip into different colour schemes as it can alter and enrich too! I always return to pencil sketching after a period of rest and then somehow the painting process follows, there intuition guides later. Hope things are much better again!

Lovely painting David I like the sky very much.

Thank you Ross, Spencer, Angela and Brian for your kind words of support.

Thank you, Coral!

Thank you, David!
