This is a beautiful watercolour of the castle David. The trees are a lovely, creative addition and add interest to the foreground. The colours are so gentle but expressive. A painting you should be very proud of.

Thank you for your ever so kind comment, Carole, it is much appreciated!!

A lovely watercolour, like your trees.

Lovely watercolour David, I like the limited colours.

Thank you Marjorie and Valerie for your comments.

Lovely winter colours David. One of my favourite castles.

Thank you, David

Very well painted David. I didn't know about this castle. I have visited Bamborough castle a few times which is in a beautiful location on the sea shore.

Thank you Bryan. Warkworth, both the village and the castle are well worth a visit. The village is on the banks of the River Coquet and you can wander up the river to the hermitage.

A terrific watercolour painting David.

Really like the softness of the washes and the mellowness of the castle walls David.

Thank you Chris and Fiona for your kind comments.
