A watercolour of a farmstead in this picturesque part of the Cape Province in South Africa. The farmstead is nestling beneath the Ortanique Mountains. The area is renowned for ostrich farming and during the 1920's because of the popularity of ostrich feathers by clothing designers many a millionaire lived in the area!!
