Really effective David, the way you’ve painted the stonework and the figures, which indicate well the size of the bridge. Don’t think I could go up there!

very nice, great feeling of scale.

You've captured the shapes so well David and the huge scale comes with the tiny figures.

Scary but good!

Well painted David, wouldn't get me up there.

Thank you Marjorie, Martin, Willie, Heather and Stephen for your very kind comments. I certainly would not climb up such a structure as I am most wary of heights!!

Wow what a bridge David! Makes a great painting g especially with the guys up top. Wouldn’t get me up there either but a great painting subject.

Thank you Tessa for your kind comments.

What an amazing natural structure - you have painted this so well, David- also portraying the scale (brave people)!

Thank you for your kind remarks, Anne!!

A watercolour I have completed of this naturally formed structure in Wadi Rum, Jordan. I was asked to paint this by my son-in-law who, with a group of friends, climbed onto the bridge!
