Nice work David.

Thank you, Ross!

Very striking David, great colours and well drawn.

Thank you, Brian!

We saw one of these in Australia - a rare sighting ... and quite frightening!

I saw one in the zoo at Cairns, in Queensland - I believe they are very dangerous birds!

Very striking and gorgeous!

Excellent drawing David.

A lovely rendition of an ancient ancestor. Not a bird I would want to come across, they have a nasty reputation.

Thank you Romila, Stephen and Carol for your kind remarks.

Thank you Spencer

Such a gorgeous Cassowary, they are larger than the Emu and ostrich they run faster too, think the largest bird of all! Haven't seen one in real life but think they live in Queensland and Papua New Guinea likened to the guinea fowls from New Zealand only they are miniature but similar beak and head cartilage....

Thank you for your comment and information, Angela.

Looks Fab 👌 👏

Thank you, Nartin.

Yet another ink and pencil crayon sketch - this time a cassowary! Such strange flightless birds.
