thank you very much for your kind comment he is still battling ! every morning used to pop my head around the bedroom door he was always sitting on edge of bed looking down at the floor with a sorrowful look. so I took a sneaky picture one morning and tried to paint him I'm not great at portraits but wanted to catch the look and the texture of his hair as he had just woke up.

This is amazing well done - I wish my Mum was alive today so that I could do something similar - however you have given me food for thought.

my father passed away Saturday the 17th peacefully he won the battle . he is now in those beautiful vanilla sky's in peace
