I intended to say that the original plan for this painting went awry, so I had to work out how to change it, working with the texture I'd already put on the canvas. It doesn't seem possible to edit in this part of the program, unfortunately, and I didn't want to have to delete and re-post.

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
