This painting is one connected shape. It was my value study which I painted in preparation for a demo that I did to an art group of figures walking on Elie Beach, Fife from a photo that I took whilst painting in Scotland with world watercolour master Andy Evansen in June 2023. The colour version became my demo painting and then a subsequent workshop subject for the painters.
