During the winter evenings when natural light is limited I practice my drawing. This was a scene from a photo that I'd taken. To practice contour drawing and to improve my observation I choose complex scenes to simplify using permanent marker pens and a time limit to complete the drawing. This drawing took me around 30 minutes and was sold at a Torbay Guild of Artists exhibition shortly after it was completed.
