A Christmas commission unusually for me. Painted from a photograph image using acrylics on canvas. I tried to paint it in way that still provided a likeness but to also allow the figure to blend with the remainder of the painting style and to not stand out with too much defined detail. And I discovered I love painting waves with energy. 20 x 16" with a satin varnish
