Peace Rose by Ken Gillam

Beautifully captured! It makes me want to look again and again. Subtle color changes well done, it truly enhances and accentuates the character of this specific rose - especially appreciated is the warm glow towards the centre where the pink shades turn to become a golden yellow. I grew up with a Peace rose in our garden, and can well remember how each and every bloom had its own magnificence.... thanks for bringing fond memories back to life! And, oh yes, compliments to your wife's caring way!

I'm glad it brings back fond memories for you, always encouraging when my art evokes that sort of response. This years crop of roses in the garden are starting to bloom, so I shal need to get busy with the camera again.
