Many thanks for your comment.s The painting is based on an actual fishing village, so I had a bit of help with the composition! However, I have changed quite a lot, e.g. : emphasising the contours and colours of the beach, adding boats and changng some of the houses - also changing all the colours! I have looked through your portfolios and I am very impressed by both your range and your skills. I don't think I can aspire to your level of (for example) figurative skills, so I have to pursue other lines such as the 'Enchanted Forest' piece - which is about boldness and imagination, but does not require any great technical skill. Hi Sarah, Thanks for your comment. I really enjoyed doing this one and have since tried a departure into 'fantasy and imagination'. Love your 'A beautiful day'. A bit mundane I know, but the best description that comes to mind is simply 'dreamy'. I can imagine getting lost in it , time and time again. It is very atmospheric. I think it would look great at several different scales, from domestic to corporate art. Please let me know if you have any luck in selling it, that is if you want to. AKS
