Thanks Paula and Sian for your comments. I didn't quite know what to make of this one after I had done it. It is based on a photograph, but I have emphasised/exaggerated the shapes/lines and have taken a lot of liberties with the colours. It is really very simply painted and I wonder if it is too naive.

I am always drawn to the design elements, and I find this piece full of movement in its rolling landscape.

Hi Ruth, Thanks for your comment. Yes, it was the design aspect that attracted me in the original photograph, and I have exaggerated it quite a bit. The rest of it isn't great but I think the shapes have worked out well. I see the same love of design in your ' Road to Joe's' series. Love your 'Landfall', I have yet to try pen and watercolour - no good at the latter.
