Wow Barbara, this looks as if it was very intricate to do! It looks brilliant, such a variety of materials, just marvellous.

Hello Margaret and thank you! It's the first time I have stitched a cityscape in such detail and I had to keep taking breaks so I didn't get too bogged down with the angles, lines and perspective. Very challenging!

I agree with Margaret...brilliant!

Hello Sylvia, thank you very much for your fantastic comment!

Mu goodness Barbara, I just love your textile work, especially this city rooftops scene :)

Thank you very much, Louise. Your great comments have inspired me to look for other buildings to interpret in textiles!

Wonderful colours and such amazing detail to be done in fabric. Just superb.

Just want to add, love those touches of bright blue.

Wow what a challenge Barbara I find it difficult to paint a townscape and can’t imagine the challenge it poses in fabric. The result is fantastic can we look forward to seeing more?

Gorgeous.

Thank you, Shirley!

Thank you very much, Sandra for your two lovely comments. I am delighted you like the picture!

Hello Barry, thank you very much for your compliments-I find stitching a picture easier than painting one as I look for the marks and patterns on fabric rather than having to think them up. I am overwhelmed by your enthusiasm for the cityscape and will definitely do some more!

Thank you, Gudrun!
