The George in Winslow, Bucks by John Whitehead
Some ornate wrought ironwork posed a challenge in this grey fineliner/watercolour painting of The George in Winslow. That wasn't the biggest problem however - I worked on this picture at a weekly painting group where an enthusiastic painter next to me accidentally splashed a black blob of oil paint on my picture! Lower left if you're wondering, now disguised in a line of bollards (which don't actually exist!).
