Effective sketch. Excellent colour, too.

I greatly admire your sharp observations to capture the spontaniety of life. An impressive talent!

Thanks to both Robert and Rod. I like sketching a lot, mainly in aquarelle pencil. Then I use water to introduce the half tones. I think what helps is 1... the savage in me and 2... my eyesight which is not that sharp hence the lack of small details

Thanks for your comments to my posts and tips suggested. I don't paint on site, its a shame with the lovely weather we enjoy but i take several photos when i am in the countryside. As for figure drawing, that painting i posted was taken from a picture. I used to attend figure and portrait lessons and got into the habit of performing 5 min sketches, but they never turned out like yours. I like all your figure sketches, they are fresh. Thanks and keep on painting and sketching.
