Thank you for your comment Anthony, I love your sketches, very good for 5 minute poses you got the proportions down and the light/shade on the model quickly and it gives a good sense of overall form in the sketches.

Thanks for the critique. My secret is ....... I draw the outline then sketch in the boundary between main shadow and highlight. ( I narrow my eyes for that to eliminate the middle tones). Then block in the shadow area. The boundary gives you the form, the modelling if you like. Then if I have the time and feel like it, I add some light middle tones .. but not necessarily. And i do this for every sketch or painting in any medium.
