Everyone starts somewhere. I personally think this one is great well done

Thanks Paul, your comment gives me confidence 👍🏻

You've based this on one of the great Alan Owen's demos, I think? and you've made an excellent job of it, but then he's an excellent teacher. Keep following his example and you'll keep learning and improving - he has an impressive collection by now: a visual encyclopaedia of watercolour. I still can't paint a watercolour sky like Alan, but will keep trying!

There is a lot here that is good, and you will have learned a lot from what you've done. I'm looking forward to seeing the next one.

Well done. Keep going.

I recognise this scene, in fact I've done it myself from Alan's demo. It's a great start Anne, I hope you enjoy trying watercolour again.

What a great start Anne .

This is a great start Anne, I remember my first one it looked like patches of coloured mud literally. Make sure you keep this one then you can look back and see how far you have travelled.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Thats the fellow, Alan Owen, i love his tutorials and i think he is a superb painter.
