Hi Phil, Thanks for your comment. Perhaps your right about the 1930's feel, although it wasn't intentional. Jeanette I am a bit of a textile junky and yes enjoy the detail in fabric...I got a chance here to indulge myself. We learn something from each picture we paint don't we? I was experimenting with modelling compound that you can spread over canvas or board. I wanted to create a sense of opulence. Thank you.
