This is the Annie who left me such a lovely comment. I know your work now the wonderful freedom you enjoy with your paintings - the original style you have. I do admire it - this for instance; a lovely loose sketch, great in it's spontaneity. As for pastels Annie, they adhere so well to Gouache, Unison and Winsor and Newton are my favourite choice. I always end up with a moustache and thick eyebrows! I keep them clean as I go by rubbing on my old tick cloth table mat - one swipe and they are clean (prefer it to rice in a bowl). I really enjoy mixed media as you do but my media now is oil. A very merry Christmas to you and hope to see more of your enchanting work in the new year Best wishes Jeannette x
