Shells and Lace

You've done an Excellent job on your rendering! (I might have pushed the contrast a tad more) I've painted lace a few times, and, yes, I felt like I had made a huge mistake, while in the midst of the paint.

Thanks for the comment Skylar. I must say I didn't feel completely in control with this one, I tried to emulate the cream colour in the lace and came out with more of an antique brown!! Then this is one of my most popular designs on greetings cards. I am pleased with how the shell came out.

Gosh you have great patience Annie, but I can understand how you would become absorbed in the application of the lace. Terrific work.
