Thank you Margaret, I am really enjoying sketching after so many years not doing it. They turn out to be lovely memories of the day, this one was really social as there were three of us sat together. The only trouble with canals is that the boats keep moving, which is why you need to be so quick!

Thank you Yana, I have discovered that one of the strengths of sketching is that the colours are very vivid outside. Some of the sketches from this year have begun to alter my painting style on canvas.
