What a lovely drawing of Heidi - I'm sure she is just as gentle as she looks. I too have greyhounds and up to now have never managed to paint my black one. However, I have just completed a pastel of a black lab on black paper which seems quite successful so will try that with Missy, i.e. play up the highlights! However, I think you have managed this beautifully. Well done.

Julie thank you for comments, I also have a black greyhound and have tried many times to paint him without success, but now will try him in pencils, I have started to attend a new class with a tutor keen on pencils so my challenge is to complete a picture of Ben. Im glad to here you have a greyhound they are such loveley dogs.
