Hi Anne, Your painting is lovely. Might I ask you, did you paint plein air or take reference photos? I haven't had the courage to paint outside, too many on-lookers etc! I tend to take reference photos and go from there. Mary Mccormack

Thank you Mary, This was done in January so I wouldn't be outside then, but it's lovely to paint or sketch plien air in warmer weather, I know some artists can put up with the vagaries of our weather, but not I ! I take a great many photos & then sketch & plan back in the studio. But I shall as the warmer weather arrives be outdoors, or perhaps abroad. I tend to work on about 6 paintings @ any one time anyway, & I can keep coming back to them till I am satisfied with them as a whole. Regards Anne.
