This is really lovely, Ann. Love the vibrant detail in the foreground, contrasted with the misty faraway hills. The washes are also glowingly clear. Excellent work! And it's wonderful to see you posting again. Thank you too for your very kind comment on my painting.

Lovely piece of work Ann, has a nice glow and freshness to the composition.

The foreground really zings Ann and I love the mist and recession you've achieved in the background. You're back with a cracker :)

Looking at how well you have painted this one, I am glad you are back again. More please!

Lovely background mist Ann and the foreground is equally as good!

Thank you all - it is great to have such encouragement - "will try harder"!

Well the word that came to mind when I saw it was "gorgeous". The foreground is is fantastic. Welcome back!

What a come back! Lovely watercolour Ann, love the silhouette of the background and the fence and rough grass are perfect.

Drawn to it immediately, lovely piece of work,

Thank you everyone else for your kind comments - I really do appreciate the encouragement.

Lovely gentle hazy sunny scene Ann

Thank you so much, Ann, for the mention; I'm glad that in some small way I was able to help! Now, this is really a super painting.I love all the colours and the texture they create in the foreground - the fence and the hedgerow - and the shadow coming towards the viewer. Also, great recession. So, well done, Anne, and welcome back. (If I am not careful I will have to restart as well!!).

This is very nice Ann!

Thanks so much, Sarah.

Likewise, sorry If I offended you.

Ann, I'm so grateful for your feedback and your generous words. It's wonderful to know that artists such as yourself are peeping and appreciating! So sorry for not having commented on your exquisite things: just look at the piece above - a sky and perspective to die for!

This is really for Lionel - with thanks for encouragement (nagging?!?). Many faults but at least I have picked up a brush again!
