Yes, it's very well executed. I like the way the sun pokes through the mist.. You might like to see the simiar one in my gallery for comparison purposes. You have succdeeded very well in conveying the foliage in the darkness, and have portrayed the snow with skilful economy.

Thanks for that Barrie. I must admit that at the last moment I generally "cheat" and use white gouache! You obviously have more scope with your pastels! - which are great.

Yes I like the feel of these winter images - all of them. It's very easy to overdo the shadows on snow - and I have done it many times. But you seem to have judged it just right.
