I like this piece, very well done...

Quite warm actually with the lovely pink sky. I once saw a painting where the painter had painted a snow scene using only warm colours. It worked remarkably well. This reminds me of that. Jx

I agree Jean that it is really satisfying - and strange - to be able to paint snow in warm colours! There are another 2 in my portfolio - one rather orange and the other purply!

A nn --- Sorry I did not reply to your question -- Do I paint snow scenes ---- Simply no, because I do not have the evidence or imformation { photos }. another reason in the 14 years its only in the last two years that we have had snow that lasts more than one day,---2011 being the worst, lasted about 6 weeks. Both my partner and myself being disabled { I am not able to walk more than 20 yards} so we just locked the door and waited it out { with help from family }.I found this very enjoyable as i could put myself in my studio along with a bottle of malt whisky and some hand rolled cigs and paint myself into oblivion.------- I have been into your snow portfolio 7 or 8 times now Ann and find it amazing, this one I cannot keep away from.---- The painting of your home in the snow fills me very much with envy
