Did you post a sketch of this on the January sketch thread Anjana? What a stunning painting you’ve made from it, difficult to choose a favourite piece.....it’s all wonderful.

Well remembered Fiona, yes not had time till this afternoon to progress it further. Thank you so much for your lovely comment 😊

Don't know how I missed this, its a great sketch!!

Very nice Anjana. Shows the command you have on the watercolour.

Excellent watercolour - evocative of a February morning.

This is gorgeous, Anjana! Love it!

This is stunning Anjana, love the light and the delicate colours of the washes. The branches sway beautifully and add to the whole beauty of this lovely scene.

It's looking good - like the pallette.

Linda, Romilla, Richard, Margaret, Carole, Maureen and Dixie thank you all for your generous comments. Romilla really flattered you say that, truth is I never feel in control of the medium, watercolour is definitely the boss :-)

Beautiful and I know the place well.

Thank you Louisa that means a lot

This is so effortlessly captured. One of my favourite places around Nottingham

Beautiful. I love the softness and the muted colours work really well here.

Thank you so much Sam and Diane for your kind words. Sam this was based on a photo taken earlier this year just after it flooded.
