Lemon on Grey

Good idea. Lemon is loosely painted and a strong image. Background and foreground is a mess, not gray and tonally weak. I'd be inclined to do it again but simplify the folds...soften them.

Am I missing something or have you? You're a mystery artist! However, this little painting shines out in its colour and simplicity. Is it a " daily painting?"

Love the underpainting choice, it really adds warmth, and am admiring those yellow tones. Having seen the bravura kettle as well, I hope you keep painting and posting on here, your work is a delight.
