This pastel picture was inspired by a night-time photo shot from outside our house (Le Choisel) with the light coming from inside the barn windows and through the front door as well as the outside light over the door plus the garden solar lights. In effect, using black paper means that the building itself is not drawn, just the areas where the light hits it. ??
