Great write up addition to your oil painting Angela, the original drawing in whatever form that takes, is all important to artworks, and it is obvious to see here what an improvement it has enabled you to make to your painting, this is a super portrait, well done!

I do like drawing and I think I,m probably better at drawing than painting,although my painting has improved a bit since starting about three years ago as you can see from my earlier works.Perhaps I should remove them so as not to drag down the others? I don,t think I would be able to draw or paint as small as you do in your aceos.I,d certainly need to get better glasses!

Excellent portrait..tight cropping workd well and skin tones are balanced nicely. His character shows and that's 99% of the skill! But it's a very big 1% for the rest!.
