'Two Black Swans' by Angela Harrison

Well rendered

Why thank you Julie and Ian, I have painted two images so far and am about to paint another. Love to watch them glide over the water, interesting to observe in summer! We once spotted a pen with her cygnets all in a line and they were just so sweet as they appeared before the lake. Might see if I can paint them from that memorable day!

Two good swans Angela

Many thanks Heather. I needed to extend the necks in the second one, and though this was first attempt they seem to have that 'dandy' posture,, not easy painting black!

Very nice Angela.

A lovely composition Angela and so refreshing to see black swans for a change.

This is the first attempt of drawing two black swans. Their necks look slightly smaller in this image but shows their feathers better than the second attempt. Might start a third image as it takes practice in projecting their posture.
