Why thank you Fiona, I decided to paint on card to experiment a series of bird images, and the Red Robin always seems to pop up in mind!

I started painting a blue sky then heard a cheep so went ahead to paint the cheeriest bird of all,being a Robin Redbreast! Its painted from an image in mind and how I remember these beautiful birds from childhood memories in Yorkshire long long ago; when there was snow and the north wind did blow!
