We visited Rye beach the other week. The jagged rocks and the tide rolling in towards us was a delight. I painted this scene the other day from a photo I took and one could experience the silent ripple of the tide and expansive atmosphere of the sea as it stretched far out to the horizon. The jagged rock structure struck awe and wonder as its one of those moments when time seems to fall still and nothing really matters anymore as nature bestows her beauty and charm in the twinkling of the eye!
