And making very good use of what’s in front of you Andrew. Great sketch, especially your telegraph pole, which you are very good at and make them part of the whole rather than on the sidelines.

I haven't posted anything for ages so thought I'd put this up on the site. Faced with waiting for my car to be washed (a rare treat for the dear thing), I rattled off this pen sketch and added the colour later. If you can't find anything to paint, paint what's in front of you eh? Pen and watercolour wash, A5 in my sketchbook.
