Very good Andrew; you should be very pleased with it! It's funny you should post this today because I have spent a long time over the last couple of days trying to master a portrait of my husband, as practice for our art group activity on Monday, suffice to say, I may go down the Picasso route!

I think you have captured the character of your friend here Andrew, really good

This is very good ....

Thank you everybody for the kind comments. I think it looks like my friend, but portraits are so hard, one little misjudgment and the likeness disappears. Karen … looking forward to the cubist husband portrait!

Anyone that can paint portrait has my respect, I tried it a couple of times and failed miserably. You should be chuffed with this Andrew, good one.

Cheers Fiona, thank you for you support.

Well done you Andrew, those glasses are very good and very tricky to paint.

Thanks Coral and thanks Heather and yes the frameless glasses were not easy to capture and so pleased you commented so favourably.
