BAD BOY

I'm not a devotee of the programme, but you can't really escape this man's image, and this is extremely well done: incidentally, and I'm sure of interest only to me, I have a watch-chain like that one; and, nerdishly, I'm a great admirer of his wardrobe (just not of the peaky blinder): proper fitting trousers! A hell of a job to find such things when your waist is but a fond memory and you're in search of comfortable bags.... you've caught the heavy fabric of the period very well: I suppose the present generation of gang-lad thugs is all puffa-jacket, trainers, "leisure pants", hoodies, and the awful polyester (no good at all for mopping up the blood).

Super portrait and spot on in every regard

Heather has it right, a perfect portrait. Magnificent menace beautifully portrayed. Super work Andrew.

Superb portrait Andrew, so skilfully painted.

Thank you so much, you wonderful people. Mr Robert Jones. I agree todays gangsters have no style, i am sure the youngsters of today would disagree, I am so fortunate to have all of my fathers wonderful garments that i still wear to this day, maybe i am just old fashioned, but i love it.

Magnificent portrait.

Yes - the series was a bit of daft escapism but the portrait is great.
