very impressive work .

I don't usually like this sort of thing but it's well composed, has a good tonal range and packs a lot of atmosphere...rather good. From a photo? Still good even if it was.

Hi Roger it's also not my sort of thing either and I was reluctant to take it on but thought it would be a challenge and get me out of my comfort zone, it was from a photograph that the photographer very kindly gave permission to my client for me to paint or other wise I wouldn't have painted it. I'm back to painting my beloved animals now but I may have another go at a landscape sometime...when I get time!!
