Thank you Michael Paula and Russell for your kind comments. I know everyone and his dog has done a painting of Venice, but it is so beautiful, and seemed a nice momento for my daughter. Plus I enjoyed painting it.

The variance of the amount of detailling gives it roominess and an amount of tension, the blue sea in the front and the beautiful sky give a very nice "Frame". I like it Andre.

You try so many different things Andre, I like seeing them all. This one really caught my eye- the blue silhouette in the distance , against the sky is the star.
