A fine strong painting, Andre. I think expression is everything in portraits, and this one is very expressive. It's easier to do things like anger or laughter, these low key expressions are much harder to get right. Great work.

An "androgenous" portrait but I'll take the plunge and say he reminds me of the Italian actor Riccardo Scamaccio ( very handsome ) . Now you'll tell me it's a woman! Excellant again Andre.

The idea is of a disgruntled youth fed up with the older generation of politicians making his future more uncertain eg Trump ,Putin, Corbyn , May etc.
