I love the red figure, you've got the movement perfectly. I hope you won't mind me saying two things - the near figure, on the left is not loose enough to fit withe other elements of the painting, is he painted with a brush? I sometimes do this myself, get the form right then " untidy" it with the knife. The other thing....soften the edges in the distance. Now you won't speak to me again!

Thanks for the comment, especially yours Marjorie.. Yes he was the only part of the painting with the brush. You are right, it's hard having the confidence and belief to go into a area regarded as detailed with the knife.as for the edges, a problem I have is an impatience, to get it over with, something I need to resolve. These comments are very much appreciated and needed, again thank you.

Great palette knife work Andre....I feel there is a story to be told in this painting...love the figure work, and Yes, the figure in red draws the eye into the picture. Nice depth achieved here too.

Andre ,I also meant to say that I love the trees and the lovely autumnal colours.
