Andre, you couldn't have posted this at a better time...for me anyway! I've been painting lemons today at art class and could I get the darker hues right....NO! Could you tell me, if it isn't a secret recipe, how you got the darker hue on the lemon, epsecially on the left lemon, far left piece? I tried lemon yellow, touch of cad orange and a touch of viridian. It's a super still life and the lemons are fab!

Thanks Fiona. Both lemons, darker section, yellow ochre, cad yellow dark hue, paynes grey, middle tone to light ,cad yellow light, mixing white, and modelling paste which does lighten the tone slightly, tried a spot of red in but give to much of an orange feel.
