You're a good technician and create a lovely atmosphere with colour and tone, but compared to your previous work, it doesn't have the same clarity. There are enough elements here for another two paintings but you have included so much that it lacks focus, wanders from left to right with no single item significant enough to act as a starting point. I just don't think that it works compositionally but the idea is good and and you have a great feel for invoking a particular environment with lighting and your skill. Sorry, Ma'am...just an 'umble opinion.

Thank you Roger for your comment! It is always good to hear helpful criticism :) It is not an easy to achieve a spontaneous (rather than imposed) look in still life. Even more, I would like to be able to 'tell a story' with the still life objects rather than just paint pretty things. Hopefully, my next piece will bring me closer to that aim :)
