I've been busting to paint this deli for years, when I went back to Lucca I was determined to paint it en plein air but I had forgotten how narrow this particular street is, barely enough for a car!! Not only that it's no longer a deli!! Fortunately I had many photos from the previous year and enough mental imagery to make it work!!
