(http://www.flickr.com/photos/87658036@N06/9107359768/) ~~~ Drawn in pencil and marker pen; rabbit painted in earth colours (yellow ochre, burnt umber, burnt sienna) + ultramarine and white; grass background painted in "leaf green", lemon yellow, ultramarine and white + cadmium yellow for the buttercup; finally (after an interval), black outlines reinstated in black acrylic. ~~~ I may need to refine this method for the actual mural - but painting each rabbit (there are two more at present...) helped me work out how I might separate the areas of colour for marking out the proposed mural.
