And not a brahn tree-trunk in sight - full of colour.

Well, actually, Robert, I was a little concerned about the brown-ness of the one to the far right in the middle distance...

Well some of 'em are brown - bit of a problem this in reality: you see brown trunks, you paint brown trunks, then up someone pops to say trees don't "always" have brown trunks .... but they can be any damn' colour if they're wet, or the light catches them in a particular way; and you don't "always" paint them brown anyway. Critics.......!

The base colours were tantalisngly abstract (and completely not green) but I just couldn't not make it look more like the woods. 100 x 50 cm, oil on canvas, paette knife and colour shaper.
