Bradgate Park (Bridge)

Lovely atmospheric painting. Nice composition, range of marks, and very well observed light effect and colours.

I went to Bradgate park a few times on my motorbike, I remember 'Old John' the tower but can't remember the bridge. I love the blue in this, is it ink or watercolour Amanda?

Thank you, Jem and Fiona. Fiona, the blue is all watercolour - there are three! Phthalo, Corelum or however it's spelt, and ultramarine. The latter is a revelation; it behaves so differently in watercolour! Especially now I have a new artists quality pan...
