Having only painted in acrylic before, the muscle memory of wanting to dip my brush into water was hard to break! I do enjoy the richness compared to acrylic paints and it was nice being able to just pick it up in short bursts, compared to acrylic where once the paint is out the tube there is pressure to paint until its finished. Excited to improve in this medium

Based in Scotland, trying to add more art practice into my free time. Historically, I have painted with acrylics, but have been expanding into watercolours and oils, often filling my sketchbooks with drawings in pen and adding colour in watercolour.
