Your seascapes are immense Alison. I particularly like this one. That's Lanzarote in the distance if I am not mistaken, with Lobos island to the right. I stood at this spot in 2006 and took dozens of photos of the surf on a windy day with the intention of producing a painting. I doubt if I could paint one to match the quality of yours though. Great recession and tones. A wonderful sky too. well done, have you any more.

Thank you. It is a beautiful island and that is a fantastic beach of which I've got alot of photos of and am intending to produce some more paintings from them. Currently I've only got the few I've posted today and my Poppies painting which is currently in a local exhibition along with one more from Fuerteventura which i haven't posted yet. I love to portray my paintings very realistically, and am a bit of a perfectionist so it can take me forever to finish something. I have been really inspired by the comments i have received. Am totally self taught so very often find painting extremely frustrating as I imagine most artists do. Looking forward to seeing more of your work
